The most fabulous homes not only contain beautiful things, but flow well from one space to the next. My designs are based on interpreting a client’s individual style whilst at the same time are characterised by comfort and practicality, and the attention to detail that simply makes the space work.

I am an award winning, freelance interior designer based in Tunbridge Wells.  My passion for interior design began in 1994 when I designed and built my first home brick by brick, from re-enamelled bath tub to handmade soft furnishings.  Then I worked on a number of houses whilst managing a demanding, commercial career, until I had the opportunity to realise my dream of qualifying as an interior designer, which I did in 2004 (KLC Dip).

I provide a flexible, bespoke interior design service, often blending antiques, contemporary design and custom made pieces.

I work in a number of different ways from complete house refurbishment to simply sourcing a few key pieces of furniture.

On a larger project I co-ordinate between a client and various trades and professional services, such as architects, project managers and engineers, to ensure they are well-informed of options and to help the project run smoothly.

I begin each project by taking a detailed client brief, to ensure that practical needs are met as well as the aesthetic ones.  I tailor my approach to each project based on its size and objectives, and based on the level of involvement a client wishes to have.

I work with a number of tried and tested suppliers and craftspeople, who provide anything from stunning poured concrete floors, to antique Swedish furniture, handmade kitchen cupboards with the trickiest dimensions, willow sculptures, ostrich skin covered bedside tables and everything in between.  I have yet to be stumped by a request to source an item!
